HELP FIRAS AND HIS FAMILY ESCAPE THE WAR IN GAZA

Hello, my name is Firas, a Palestinian enduring the

horrific war in Gaza. I'm urgently raising funds to help my

family and me find a safer place where we no longer face

death, fear, and hunger daily.

Our story

Before the war, I was a computer engineering student at

Al-Quds Open University, which has now been destroyed

by relentless bombardments. My family and I also ran a

car buying and selling business, but it was completely

obliterated. Our home and livelihood were burned and

destroyed. We once lived a normal life, just like everyone

deserves.

The War's Impact

On the eve of the war, I was preparing to celebrate my

birthday. Instead, I woke up to the terrifying sounds of

bombs, and our joy turned into despair. On October 18,

while we were at home, bombs began raining down on

us. It was an incredibly frightening experience.

Seeking Safety in Rafah

We fled to Rafah, hoping for safety, but it is not safe

either. Bombs fall on Rafah daily, and we live in constant fear, unsure of what the future holds. There is truly no

safe place in Gaza. Many days, we go without food, and

when we do find some, the prices are exorbitant and

unsustainable.

Our Urgent Plea for Help

We desperately need to leave Gaza as soon as possible. I

have created this GoFundMe campaign, urgently

appealing for your support. Please help my family and

My name is Lauren Cook from the United Kingdom and I am posting this Gofundme on behalf of Feras Abdul Latif from Gaza. All the money raised in this Gofundme will be transferred to Feras via international bank transfer.

Feras was studying computer engineering at Al-Quds Open University before the war started in Gaza. Around 15th November, Israeli forces bombed the Gaza branch of Al-Quds Open University, destroying its building.

Feras needs to raise $100,000 for travel costs for himself and his family to leave Gaza. His family include 8 adults and 8 children, including a newly born 2 week old baby.

This is his house after it got partially burned. Since this photo, it has been completely destroyed by bombing.

Feras had to leave his house in the South Sands area of Gaza and is now living in cramped conditions with his family. The tent is far too small to house all 15 members of his family. Feras regularly has to go hunting for food and water to feed his family, and needs to find nappies and food to feed the baby.

If 2,000 people donated $50, we would have enough money to evacuate Feras and his family from a life of terror in Gaza. It just means instead of treating yourself to 2 coffees, you can contribute to saving the lives of an entire family. Which matters more to you?
