Help Ferino Distillery Keep the Spirit Alive

Dear Friends, Family, and Patrons of Ferino,

If you've ever enjoyed our Italian-inspired spirits, indulged in our unique craft cocktails, or simply found joy within the warm and welcoming walls of Ferino Distillery, we need your help.

You may already know us as a passionate distillery established in the heart of Reno's downtown Brewery District. Over the past years, we have proudly served our community, contributing to celebrations, gatherings, and the simple joys of life. Through the darkest hours of the pandemic, we remained steadfast, pouring our heart and soul into every bottle, every cocktail, every interaction, and found a way to donate hand sanitizer and other support to the City of Reno, the Washoe County Health District and the Reno Fire Department.

However, today, we find ourselves confronted by a crippling and unexpected challenge. A recent aggressive action by the Nevada Tax Department has led to the temporary closure of our operations for nearly a month now, a scenario that several other businesses are grappling with. We are disputing their claims vigorously, backed by legal counsel and an outpouring of support from industry professionals, local officials, and numerous institutions including the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce. We are confident that we will ultimately prevail.

Yet, with our operations frozen during this time we face an uphill struggle to cover our operational costs and keep the lights on - power, rent, insurance, legal fees and more. We are determined to fight for Ferino, for our team, and ultimately for our local community to try and avoid a closure in the Brewery District, which has come such a long way.

This is why we're reaching out to you today, and launching a GoFundMe campaign in hopes of raising funds that will help us stay afloat during this turbulent time. We need your support more than ever.

Any contribution can make a big difference. Whether it's the price of a cocktail, the cost of a bottle, or any amount that feels right to you - every dollar will be a step towards overcoming this challenge.
