Help Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer: Shardai’s 3rd Battle

Donation protected
On Friday, December 6th my doctor confirmed one of my greatest fears. The cancer is back and with a vengeance. Back in March I had a bilateral below the knee amputation to get rid of squamous cell carcinoma (the top cause of death for people with my skin disorder [Epidermolysis Bullosa]). After healing from that surgery, all of my scans came back clear and I returned to work the end of April. A couple of months after being back to work, I found out that the cancer returned and was in my lymph nodes. The end of July I had my second surgery to remove cancer from the right side of my groin. Once again, after I recovered all of my scans came back showing no signs of cancer and I returned to work the middle of September. Since the beginning of November, I have been dealing with pain on the left side in my chest, shoulder, and shoulder blade region. After taking over the counter meds to ease the pain and them losing their effect, I went to Urgent Care. I was prescribed a muscle relaxer, which helped for a little bit but again the pain persisted and started traveling to the center of my back (in between the shoulder blades). A week after going to Urgent Care, I went to the Emergency Room. The ER ran some tests and found a mass in my chest cavity near my heart. After receiving their results, my oncologist did a full examination consisting of lab work and imaging. On Friday, December 6th we had the results from the testing. The cancer has spread throughout my body. It is in my left upper thigh, the chest cavity on my left side near my heart, the bottom of the lung on the left side, in my shoulder bone, in my ribs, and in my spine between my shoulder blades. I was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma. Unfortunately, due to the locations of the cancer, it is inoperable. Though we cannot surgically remove the cancer, that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to fight it. My doctor is wanting me to start targeted radiation this week (sometime between Dec. 9th and Dec. 13th). The following week, I will be starting a fast acting cancer drug (sometime between Dec. 16th and Dec. 20th). In addition to modern medicine, I am completely changing the way I eat. I am cutting out processed foods and processed sugars. I’m going to eat as naturally as I can. I want to consume foods that help reduce inflammation, boost my immune system, and help fight cancer.

I’m going to do as much as I can to give my body a fighting chance and I need your help. There is a device called Bemer that uses PEMF to increase microcirculation within our body. Good blood flow is key to combating a myriad of health issues. In Canada it is approved by the government thus allowing insurances to cover it. In some European countries it’s used in the medical field like first responders. However, the USA hasn’t approved it so my insurance will not cover it. In addition to this device, I want to consult with a Chinese Herbalist to see what herbs they recommend for giving my body the best chance to fight in conjunction with modern cancer treatments. Lastly, the supplement I have been using since 2020 has helped promote wound healing in wounds that were showing no signs of improving for over a decade. I use a liquid version which I drink every day and a topical version which is proven to reduce inflammation. All of the aforementioned items and the natural diet I’ll be doing will be costly. I will be going on Medical leave effective immediately and my job doesn’t have paid medical leave. I also don’t know if I will qualify for my state’s paid family leave. Though I plan on going back on disability, I know the disability check will be little in comparison to what I made while working and will take time for me to start receiving.

This is it, this is my last chance at fighting cancer and I cannot do it without your support. Thank you in advance for reading and supporting me in yet another cancer battle. If you are unable to donate, I ask that you please share and leave an encouraging comment below. Thank you in advance!
