David Castle, who is 7 years old, has been diagnosed with stage 4 diffuse anaplastic Wilm’s tumor.
UPDATE January 29, 2021: On Tuesday January 26, 2021 Tammy received the worse news a mother could, David's Oncologist informed her that David would only have a week maybe two weeks left. After a long strong fight there is nothing more that can be done for David's cancer. We have greatly appreciated your support over the past year-an-half however with mounting medical expenses and upcoming funeral expenses, any additional help would be greatly appreciated. ~Thank you from the bottom of our hearts~
On Saturday, October 19, 2019 David was taken to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital after complaining of not feeling very well and being very tired for several days. On Friday October 25th we received the worse news ever, doctors reported that David has a very aggressive tumor called Diffused Anaplastic Wilm’s, which was already in stage 4 upon diagnoses. The tumor has already begun to spread to other parts of his body.
David has already undergone very painful tests, surgery, and long days and nights at the hospital. Many months of radiation and chemotherapy are forthcoming for David.
David’s mom and grandma, Tammy and Valerie, need our help. Both of them have been and will continue to spend every waking moment by David’s side. They also have four other children at home that they must care and provide for, ranging from the ages of 7-19. There are many upcoming medical costs, travel to the hospital, which is 1.5 hours away from their home, but they also have a home and all the standard expenses it takes to keep a family going.
Any contribution is a big help and goes directly to helping this family have less to worry about during this extremely difficult time.
