Please Help Rebuild Lives in Cayo, Belize
Donation protected
After the Vaca Plateau fires in Cayo, Belize, many of the local farmers were left without homes, crops, and pastureland for their farm animals. These are rural farmers and most depend solely on the land and its resources for their livelihood and the support and survival of their families. These local farmers have little or no financial resources, and what little they had has already been spent to help their community with recovery. These families have also had to deal with this terrible tragedy with the added burden of the covid-19 crisis which limits their movement.
While rebuilding is beginning, crops are being replanted, and pastureland is in recovery, the fight for survival is far from over. Please continue to help the local farmers of the Vaca Plateau region financially until the land can once again produce its fruits. 100% of all donations go directly to the families involved in now in the recovery. All fees are absorbed by the sponsor.
