Help Finalize Jasper's Adoption

Hello, my name is James. My wife, Justice, and I are fundraising to to help finalize the adoption of our son, Jasper. We are trying to raise $3500 by the end of February to pay for the last of our lawyer and adoption fees

We first found out about Jasper in June of 2021, we were told a memeber of the family was pregnant and planned to give the child up for adoption. Despite the fact that our daughter had just been born in April, my wife and I volunteered to adopt the child. Two months went by and we hadn't heard back and had assumed we were not going to be taken up on our offer until one afternoon in the middle of August when we got a call we'll never forget. I was in the nursery putting our daughter down for a nap when I heard Justice's phone ringing, a few minutes later she rushed in to the nursery to tell me that the baby had been born and the parents were asking if we still wanted to adopt him. Without hesitation, Justice and I were in agreance that we had to give this baby a home. We rushed to the hospital to hopefully meet him, sadly we were not able to meet him at this time but we did meet the adoption agent and began the process. To have a child placed in your home is typically a lenghty and expensive process that can take months; however, the agency helped us expedite the process. It wasn't easy, or cheap, but five days later, after scrambling to get everything done, we were able to bring Jasper home. Jasper has shown me that my heart always has room for more love, and while amny called us crazy for adopting a newborn so soon after our daughter was born. Almost six months later and Jasper is happy and healthy and it is time to finallize his adoption. While Justice and I have managed to cover the adoption fees so far, we need help finishing up. The adoption is set to be finallized in the end of February and the money raised will go towards paying the final fees from the adoption agency and our lawyer.
