SOS! Help Us Create an Accessible Home for Aggie

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Finn, and this is a picture of me and my 15-year-old sister Aggie Candy-Waters.
You may have recently seen the viral video of us visiting the King's Guard in London, which has touched many hearts with the kindness of the Guard and his horse.
[ Daily Mail article;

The video was filmed without our knowledge so we were amazed to find out that it had reached 8-digit figures in views accumulated from multiple reposts across several platforms. Undeniably a case of being in the right place at the right time.

Aggie suffers from H-ABC, an extremely rare and degenerative neurological disease affecting only about 200 known cases worldwide. Once able to walk and talk, this devastating disease has steadily stripped her of these abilities. Now, Aggie cannot do anything for herself. As she grows older, taller, and heavier, her needs are expanding. Watching our spirited Aggie navigate her life with humility, resilience, and humour while her body gradually deteriorates has been both overwhelming and heartbreaking. Despite everything, her infectious smile still lights up any room.

My mum is a single parent and full-time carer for Aggie. Our family home is no longer accessible for her and cannot be fully adapted to her needs. We face the daily challenge of carrying and lifting Aggie, as her wheelchair only allows access to one room. She cannot enter the kitchen or our outdoor space due to steps and narrow doorways.

Our dream is to provide Aggie with a fully accessible, single-story home where she can live more independently and improve her quality of life, as well as my mum’s.
I am reaching out to ask for your support to help make this dream a reality.

After reading the wonderful and heartwarming comments about Aggie online, I felt compelled to seek your help. Your generosity will make a significant difference in Aggie's life, helping us create a home where she can truly thrive.

Please support our cause by donating to our GoFundMe page. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

Best wishes,

Finn Candy-Waters
