Ashley Miller (Carlson) Missing - Found Deceased

(Updated 11/30/21) With a heavy heart, we would like to inform you that around 9:00 am on Saturday, November 27th, 2021, family members and volunteer searchers from Christian Aid Ministries found the remains of Ashley.  We are now able to lay Ashley to rest in dignity as of child of God that she and everyone deserves. Continued funding of a monetary gift will be used for professional investigative services on her disappearance and death, costs associated with her recovery, and her four children. In addition, any remaining funds will be donated to endangered women's causes and advocacy. 

This GoFundMe is being established for Ashley L. Miller (Carlson), age 33, who was reported as missing on Friday, September 24, 2021 by her family when the vehicle she was driving was found East of Hinckley, Minnesota in Graces Lake. There was no sign of Ashley in or around the vehicle or lake area. She was last seen on September 23, 2021 in the Lake Lena (Aazhoomog) Community part of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in Pine County, Minnesota. No one has seen or heard from her since. On September 27th, 2021, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued a statewide missing person alert for Ashley. She is also now an official nationwide missing person. She is considered missing and endangered by law enforcement.

 

Ashley is a mother of 4 young children, a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to SO many. Ashley is from the Siren / Grantsburg area and grew up in Frederic, WI. Ashley accepts everyone for who they are and always sees the best in everyone. If anyone needed help, she was always there for others. She is full of life and has a strong spirit. She always can make you laugh and break out into song at a moment’s notice without hesitation. She comes from a very large family who are desperate to find her and bring her home. We miss her more than words can express. If anyone in our family or one of her friends would have gone missing, Ashley would be the first one doing everything possible to find them, no questions asked. She would not stop for anything until the person was found. We owe her the same. We will not stop until she is found and we #BringAshleyHome to her family and especially her four children.

 

Law Enforcement from both Pine County, MN and Burnett County, WI have been searching for Ashley by foot, K-9, drone, and aircraft. They have been investigating the case now for almost four weeks. Her disappearance has left a hole and ache in everyone's heart that can't be filled or start healing until she is found.

 

The funds that are donated will be used to continue to raise awareness about Ashley’s disappearance, to expand the search efforts by her family to find her, and to support her and her children during this time. This may include but not limited to printing and laminating posters, signs, billboards, professional investigation services, rescue and recovery search services, establishing a reward for her recovery, and assisting in Ashley’s and her four children's recovery financially and physically. In addition, any remaining funds will be donated to endangered women's causes and advocacy.
