Help Find Bear with Thermal Imaging Camera
Donation protected
Hi my name is Kate and I’m raising funds on behalf of Catherine Bamber & Family to pay for a thermal imaging camera to help find their much loved dog . Local charity Drone Sar Lost Dogs Uk don’t have one that covers our area . If we can raise enough money either hire one alongside a trained pilot or to buy one for the charity then this can be used in future for any other local needs like Lost pets / missing people . these can be Upto 5k to buy.
There are local drone pilots helping with their own equipment at the moment but these are not thermal cameras .
Local drone pilots could make use of the thermal camera when needed in the future.
Bear is a young adult dog , Lakeland Terrier Black & Tan. Last seen Inskip, Preston- Pinfold Lane Moss Lane area .
He went missing 3 days ago (Wednesday 10th jan) the surrounding areas are all farm land and we fear he maybe trapped somewhere . He’s an adventurous dog and may have chased a rabbit, possibly got stuck in a warren . Locals have helped hugely with standard drones but we feel the thermal imaging camera is our only hope . If he’s trapped in a bush / hedge this won’t be visible on normal drone footage . Bear is the pup of Catherine’s other dog Alice who is deeply distressed without him and is pining for him home .
Catherines daughter Ellie is absolutely devastated and being on the autistic spectrum she’s struggling to comprehend the whole situation . these dogs are her best friends / therapy dog .
Seeing the success of the finding of recent missing dog Uylsse using drone imagery in Bedfordshire with the help of go fund has given us hope that we too can raise enough to bring Bear home . Any little helps and we appreciate everyone’s efforts . If you can’t to help please just share far and wide .
