Help find Eli Buruca and bring him home

Hi, my name is Louise Alexander and I am helping the Buruca family recover Eli from Kalamalka Lake, in Coldstream, BC.

On Monday, July 24th, Eli and two friends headed out to kayak on Kal Lake at about 8 PM. At approximately 9:30 PM While out in their kayaks a storm hit and the three were separated. Two of the friends made it to shore at about 10:30-11:00 PM but Eli did not. He has not been found and is presumed drowned. Eli's family arrived from Calgary to search for him and continue to do so. Despite various efforts from the local search and rescue (VSAR), the RCMP, the community, and his family, Eli is still missing. The family has been able to contact Gene and Sandy Ralston, a couple who volunteers and specializes in recovering drowned victims using a specialized towed sonar device. They have kindly agreed to drive up from California this weekend. All donations will help to cover the costs of his recovery as well as assist the family in taking Eli to El Salvador to be buried alongside his brother.
