Help bring home my son JaQuan Smalls-Smith
My name is Takera Smalls- Oliver, I’m starting this fundraiser with hopes of having access to any funds I need to find my son. His name is JaQuan Smalls Smith, age 16, was last seen on October 28, 2020 in Bonneau, South Carolina.
He is 5’7” tall, weighs 135 pounds, and has light brown eyes and brown hair. His phone is with him and his car possibly is as well; it’s a 2002 tan Buick lasabre. His phone pinged in GA driving south on I-85 and then New Orleans, LA the next day. JaQuan is my first and only son. He’s the oldest child of 4 children, his younger siblings are sisters who love him dearly. Along with being a 11th grade honors student, he’s also enrolled in college courses to obtain his associates degree when he receives his high school diploma. My son is very down to earth, loving, helpful, and open with me which is why I have the slightest idea as to why he would leave me and his family without bad little as a “goodbye” or “see you later.” With the help and the community and social media, I have high spirits that we will find my son. We have a great relation and strangers are reaching out to me and my siblings bashing us and trying to deprive me of my parenting skills. I’m being blamed for his disappearance and it hurts. I love all of my children and would never put any of them in a predicament to feel that they can’t talk to me and confide in me with how they feel
There’s an active missing persons case in South Carolina and a bolo in Lagrange, GA. We’ve reached out to proper authorities already and have done anything possible we could think of. It takes a village to raise a child and they have, I would just love for everyone to help find my boy.
The funds will be used to assist in the search for him. These expenses will be limited to lodging and traveling expenses to assist with bringing him home.
