Final Arrangements for Zachary Patterson

ZACH PATTERSON FOUND DECEASED JUNE 25TH 2024!!!!

My 26 yr old son ZACHARY PATTERSON went missing on 5/9/24. My name is Nicole and I'm his mother, Zach was my only child, the center of my world and being a younger mother we both grew up together one could say. Zach loves so many things in life for example he has a eye for fashion and is a avid collector/reseller of designer, collectable and trendy tennis shoes. He became a new father last year on Father's Day to a beautiful boy named Atlas. He had two fur babies as well named Nikko and Zero and adored every furry inch of them. Zach had a knack for purchasing, repairing and reselling 90's model cars and was self taught and acquired a vast knowledge of crypto currency and stocks. Zach most of all new how to have fun, make a joke out of anything good or bad and always had everyone he knew laughing. We both live in York County SC and he attended Northwestern Highschool and graduated in 2018.

Due to the circumstances of his death and missing person case now a criminal investigation is underway to find who was involved in my son's death and the cause.. The searching has continued however is now focusing on finding justice, answers and some closure for my family. Due to the untimely death, the abruptness and unanswered questions we have decided to do a celebration of my son's life and have a family friendly environment to pay respects, congregate, reflect and celebrate our love for Zach. With that being said the cost of everything has been quite daunting to say the least. With heavy hearts, many days of waiting and the unknown always in the back of our minds we have reached a milestone and Zach's autopsy has been completed and his remains returned to me. After a lot of tough decisions I have decided to have Zach remains cremated, and when I receive his ashes I feel like it's time to give him a memorial. We haven't secured a burial plot or headstone, however this is our final goal when budget permits. We know Atlas, Zachary's 1 year old, myself and all his family and friends will need a place to visit and desire a tangible location to keep Zachs memory alive. Zach is loved by many and has left behind his father Jason, his son Altas and his mother Alyssa, Half brother Ky, Stepfather Mark along with his children Derek, Kara and Danielle. His grandmother Lisa and Donna, Papa Richard and Papa Zeke and along with several very close cousins he thought brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews who looked up to their Uncle Zach dearly.

Zach's a child of God, my son & best friend, new father, big brother, caring grandson, protective uncle, loyal best friend and a loving cousin to over 20+. It's hard to put just one label on him but if I had to, he was one of a kind! Zach has touch many lives with his giving nature, always being the jokester and making people laugh even in their worst day. To name a few of Zach's best qualities, his smile, funny to the bone no matter what life threw at him and very loyal to his loved ones, but most of all for never saying no to someone in need. He would go without to give to someone who needs more than him. Never second guessing his decision to help someone in need and having humility while doing it knowing we ALL are one critical moment, accident or injury away from being in need ourselves. He saw ALL people as worthy of helping whether it be a guy panhandling on the side of the road, or an our elderly neighbor not carrying her groceries in the house, or to a friend who might need a place to stay for a couple days. It didn't matter, he always stepped up even, when he didn't receive the same courtesies when he was in need Zach never deviated from always being there, showing up or lending a hand. His giving heart was one the best qualities.
