Help finish & release Burlington Paranormal short

In November of 2021 I used the money I made from selling my house to fund the shooting of a short teaser to a full length horror / comedy called Burlington Paranormal about a team of paranormal investigators (a psychic drag queen, a non-binary noise musician tech, a mute video artist camera operator, and a new intern) led by a woman who has the ability to punch ghosts with her right hand. I was able to cull together an amazing cast (Johnny Pemberton of Superstore and 21 Jump Street, Ellie Desautels of the TV series Rise, and San Francisco horror and drag icon Peaches Christ to name a few) and crew and we captured some gorgeous footage and captivating performances.

 

As we close in on completion, we are running about $4000 short on post production costs for sound mixing, editing, and video effects. Beyond that, we are seeking an additional $1000 for festival submission money so that we can get this in front of people and fund some travel to the fests for the director. The cast and crew was upwards of 40 people, and between SAG, COVID nurses and safety admins, location owners and everyone who was involved there were a lot of people and was a lot of time put into this.
