Help Finley Walk Again

Finley is my sweet 5-year-old chihuahua. I was his foster mom for 3 months in May 2018 after they found him hit by a car in a nearby park. His bones were shattered in his left arm, left leg, pelvis, and neck. Finley went through 7 surgeries where the vet attempted to repair his bones the best he could. Finley was in two hard casts on his left arm and leg for two months before his leg was amputated from complications with the healing process. His arm was saved although it was not very sturdy. After being in severe pain and bed rest for months, he was finally in the clear. I fell so in love with him and adopted him after 3 1/2 really tough months.

Fast forward to now - Finley is experiencing extreme and unbearable pain in his left arm. The wire that is holding his bones together is ripping into his muscle and destroying cartilage around it. The wire is coming loose and his arm is disconnecting, as well as a fracture in his bone that never healed. Finley needs immediate emergency surgery to ensure that he can keep at least one arm on the left side of his body and to make sure he can live the rest of his life as a normal dog. He will need the wire taken out that is holding his bones together. A plate and screws will replace the wire for a better chance at walking again.

I am a college student and have been working to scrape up any money possible after this came out of nowhere. Finley has been unbelievably strong through all his surgeries and I would hate for him to lose the ability to walk after all we have been through together. I love my sweet baby and I just can't live without him.
