Help Fire victims get back on their feet

On Sunday, September 27th a fire broke out at the home of my niece’s godmother, Kathy - a two bedroom townhouse my niece (Amina) shared with her. Both bedrooms were destroyed and all of their belongings were lost. 

Kathy has been taking care of her ailing mother. And when Amina moved back to the Bay Area earlier this year she not only offered her a place to stay,  she helped her buy a car and get on her feet.

Now Kathy needs help getting back on her feet. Finding a new place takes time and money. While Kathy and Amina are both gainfully employed, they did not have renters insurance or enough of a savings to cover everything. They cannot replace the pictures and mementos, but they need to replace all of their other belongings: clothes, furniture, etc.
