Help Fitz Fight FIP

Hi, My name is Kristian! I am Fitz’s mama! I got Fitz from a friend when he was just 8 weeks old! He was the sweetest most playful kitten! Unfortunately he fell ill shortly after we got him and we almost lost him. His levels were very low. He was lethargic, no appetite and just wasn’t being himself. He stayed at the hospital for a couple days on subQ fluids and antibiotics. He was released back to me and slowly got better and back to himself!

October 8th Fitz is now 2 years old! I noticed him not eating his breakfast, or jumping up on the dresser in his room where his food is. He always jumped up on the dresser as I scooped his food, that was a telling tale he wasn’t feeling good. Later that night I went to feed him again and he was falling while trying to jump up on the dresser. I took him to the vet the next day. They did blood work and gave antibiotics and fluid. He is positive for FIP. This means I will need to get his blood work done often, and treatment for him started asap! It consists of 1 injection a day for 84 days.

This brings me to why I am making this gofundme. Times are hard, this was very sudden and unexpected. I am a mom to 4 kiddos, 3 dogs and 6 cats. My kids and animals both mean the world to me. I hate to do this but I will do anything for my animals, even if it means sitting my pride aside to save their life! Anything will help at this point. We need supplies like a grooming hammock, lickable treats, churu, kitty scale, needles etc… On top of the daily injections which one vial is $60 plus shipping. One vial can get us through about 4 days. As he gains weight, his dose will increase. I truly appreciate anyone who took the time to read our story. God bless you all
