Help fix Alfred

This gorgeous boy is called Alfred. He is 1 year old and the cutest, bravest little man.
On the night of Wednesday the 8th of November in the torrential rain Alfred was hit by a car.
Luckily some extremely kind people saw him get hit and picked him up and drove him an hour to the nearest emergency vets that I happened to be working at.........
When Alfred arrived at the emergency vets he was extremely cold (his temperature wouldn't even read), muddy, wet, in pain and in shock. We got straight to work warming him up and giving him pain relief.
Luckily Alfred was microchipped so we were able to contact his owner and tell her what happened.
Alfred's owner got a lift over to us and arrived as soon as she could.
Unfortunately Alfred's owner had severe health issues herself so felt she was unable to provide Alfred with the care he needs to get better. Alfred was not insured and his owner did not have the funds for his treatment even if she could have cared for him.
So Alfred's owner made the decision to sign Alfred over to me as she did not want to make the heart breaking decision to put him to sleep.
After Alfred was stabilised overnight, he was xrayed in the morning to find out the extent of his injuries.
Alfred's left femur (the biggest bone in his leg) is broken in 3 places and Alfred's pelvis is broken in multiple places including through his right hip joint.
Due to his extensive injuries Alfred needs specialist Orthopaedic surgery to be able to fix his injuries so that he can walk and function again normally.
As Alfred is not insured all of his
treatment will have to be paid for by me and this is why I'm reaching out to ask if anyone is able to help contribute towards Alfred's care.
Any contribution no matter how small will be massively appreciated by Alfred and me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this page ❤️

Alfred update 18/11/23
Alfred came home yesterday (17/11/23) at last after being in hospital for 10 days and having major surgery to his leg and suffering a lot of blood loss.
He has used his litter tray for the first time since his accident and is slowly regaining the use of his tail which suffered nerve damage.
He has taken a few steps but his pelvis is still unstable at the moment so he is still struggling to walk.
He's still quite anaemic so spends a lot of time sleeping in his super comfy bed.
His favourite things are cuddles and dreamies :)
Thank you so much for everyone's continued support, Alfred wouldn't be here without you

Alfred has been home 3 weeks now and his recovery has been amazing.
Just 1 month after being hit by a car and just over 3 weeks since he had his fracture repair surgery and he's walking around and starting to play.
He
He's so brave and rarely complains about taking medications or any of his treatments.
