I've worked in hospitality for 10 years. I love my job and I love my customers, but being a barista isn't great for big, unexpected expenses.

I sustained an injury to my shoulder which makes it very unstable. Any time I use my left arm, there's a good chance that my shoulder will dislocate and I will end up in the emergency room... again.

The operation to restabilise my shoulder and get me back to normal either requires 12-18 months on a waiting list and an estimated 3-4 more trips to the emergency room in the meantime, or a whole lot of money that I don't have.

Any amount you can give will be dearly appreciated and will be put toward the surgery.
