Help fix Willow Bend's Biobug

Willow Bend is a Flagstaff based non-profit organization delivering environmental and outdoor programs to schools, youth groups and the community.

During the night (November 16th) our vehicle was vandalized. The iconic Willow Bend "Biobug" is used to transport our teachers and program materials all over Coconino County, and is the organization’s only mode of reliable transportation. Our “Biobug” has safely lived in that parking lot for many years so we are very sad to see it damaged; fixing it will be pricey.

Damage done includes a shattered back window, damaged windshield, stolen headlights and side mirrors, destroyed windshield wipers, slashed tires, paint damage, and a whole lot of heartache.  

While our insurance partially covers the repairs, we have a pretty hefty copayment, as well as needed paint job that is not covered.

We are reaching out to our community in request for help. If you attended one of our free events, had us visit your school, enjoyed our tabling activities, or just understand the value of environmental education, please consider making a donation.

We would love to get our "Biobug" back on the road in time for our winter programs.
