Flat Out Polo, the only U. S. Polo Association Interscholastic team in Michigan, is seeking your help so they can to travel to the Central Open Regional tournament in Texas. This is an incredible, and well earned, opportunity that these kids really don’t want to miss out on!
The team was established earlier this year and we have 4 talented players, two of which have never played before but have proven to be determined and dedicated teammates. Our two boys have previously played polo, but are new to Interscholastic polo and are rapidly improving.
Carter VanDeven attends East Grand Rapids High School as a junior, and has been playing polo for a few years, on the grass and in the arena.
Rett Morris is a junior at Forest Hills Northern High School and started playing with Flat Out Polo club a couple years ago. He mostly has played in the arena.
Caroline Fabus is a 7th grader at Ovid Elise Middle School, and this is her first year playing polo, although she has an extensive background in horses and showing.
Aleah Arthur attends Laingsburg Highschool in 9th grade, and this is also her first year playing polo. Aleah shows her horse on the AQHA circuit and competes regularly outside of polo.
Costs to travel for the kids is out of pocket, including but not limited to lodging, flights, rental car, tournament fees, and the rental of ponies for the team to use.
Please consider supporting this hardworking team. They’ve put in many hours of work and practicing to qualify for this tournament!
