Help Florence Fight ALS

Hi, my name is Marissa and my family and I have decided to create a go fund me on behalf of my great aunt, Florence Buonavolonta Doran. Aunt Flo has recently been given the unfortunate diagnosis of ALS. For those who don’t know, ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease, is a nervous system disease that weakens the muscles in the body causing issues with swallowing, walking, talking, and eventually breathing. Florence can no longer work due to this disease and her loving husband, Chuck, is also disabled. Though, the testing for this disease is symptom based and we all remain hopeful, her neurologist has given her approximately 2-5 years to live. My family and I are attempting to raise money for anything they deem necessary. She wants to go on a train ride through Colorado with her husband and three beautiful children, Steve, Alex(Anthony), and Mathew as well as her three grandchildren. As this disease progresses she will also need accommodations in her home for her comfort. We are trying to lighten the financial burden of this diagnosis as much as possible and hope that you join us if you can. We have been so fortunate for the love and support from everyone and are so grateful for each and every one of you! You guys have truly proven just how strong this community of people she has built is and we could never express enough gratitude for all of your outpouring support.
