Help for a gastric bypass

Hiya, i really hate to be doing this but as most of you know I'm Laura and for the past 4 years I've been trying to get NHS funding for a gastric bypass. I did all the education, therapy and lost more than the amount of weight they required. I was told i was fit for surgery then due to unforeseen family events i was discharged from service and told i had to wait at least 6 months and then i had to be re refered (which i have done) but told im at least 8 months from intial appointment.

Truth be told i dont know if my health can wait another 4 years (not factoring in COVID backlog) to get back to that point. My health has already declined from my original start point.

I have seen many people go to Turkey for the surgery privately, and this is why I've created this account. I need to raise £5,000 for the surgery, and im embarassed to ask you lovely lot for anything to help me get to that goal.

If im fortunate to raise anything and get surgery on the NHS all money raised will be donated to a children with cancer charity.
