Help for a knee surgery

Hi my name is Carlos Javier Andrade, I’m an international student, one day I decide to come to Australia to make true my dreams. but unfortunately On August 3 I suffered from an injury to the knee after playing a soccer game. I didn’t realize how severed the injury was until the medical exams came back. The X-ray showed that I haven’t fracture but the MRI showed that I had:

-Rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of full thickness

-Translational bone bruises in the lateral femoral condyle and the posterior corner of the lateral tibial plateau

-High-grade partial thickness tear of the grade 2 medial collateral ligament

-In the posteromedial corner there is a bone contusion with bone marrow edema

-In the posterolateral corner there is soft tissue edema and a partial thick tear / sprain of the proximal to medium lateral collateral ligament

-The fascicle of the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus tears in the popliteal hiatus

-There is a big joint spill

My insurance will not cover the surgical procedures that I need here in Australia. I am here on a visa with my partner but my insurance only covers individuals and after verifying with my insurance I was informed that my insurance doesn’t cover any cost of the surgery that I need. The surgery costs around $20000 dollar which is imposible for me to cover out of pocket, so the best solution is for me to go back to Colombia and get surgery there. The surgery in Colombia costs around $6000 to $9000 dollars, and unfortunately I don’t have insurance in Colombia either and even if I got insurance today it would take at least 1 month to get the appointment to get some exams and after 6 months to get an appointment for the surgery. It’s been 3 weeks since I’ve been not able to go back to work and my savings are running out. This is why I am asking everyone that I know with an open heart to help me gather the money I need to cover my knee surgery and get to and from Colombia. This is an urgent matter and ideally I would like to go to Colombia as soon as possible.

all the money that I can collect will be used for my surgery and therapy.
