Help for Agata Opach stroke victim
Donation protected
I am reaching out to you for your generous support to help my mother Agata in not only returning back to Canada but recovering from her unfortunate accident while back home in Poland.
On February 17th, my mother Agata had a stroke while visiting Poland, imminently she was transported to Nowy Targ Hospital, unfortunately they could not help her at that hospital therefore she was transported to the University in Krakow. By the time of her arrival unfortunately it was too late to avoid brain damage and she suffered a left side brain injury.
Due to this she is now paralyzed in her right hand side, not able to speak, talk, walk or write. At the same time she was diagnosed with deep aphasia which is a language disorder caused by damage in a specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension.
This sequence of events has led to an expensive and long rehabilitation including physiotherapy and language therapy, also making her rely on different means to communicate.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated as this will financially support her road to recovery, return to Canada and help with any other expenses that may be incurred to help her return to her old self.
