Help for Amanda West's Road to Recovery

Hello all, my name is Anna and I am starting this fundraiser for my best friend Amanda West.

Saturday, July 15, she was involved in a horrible accident on the freeway in Phoenix Arizona. Her Jeep flipped and rolled several times and then she was hit by a semi-truck. She was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and was in the trauma unit for hours upon hours before being moved to post op trauma to be heavily monitored and run several tests and scans. She had a guardian angel with her and is incredibly lucky to be alive today. The vehicle is hardly recognizable and completely destroyed. She spent three days in the hospital and has a spinal injury along with severe bruising and cuts from head to toe. She is not out of the woods yet. Her road to recovery will be a very long one and it is yet to be determined if she is going to need spinal surgery.

Amanda is a stay-at-home Mother to two beautiful children and is married to her husband, Josiah, who is incredibly hard-working. Her son Hendrix is 2 and her daughter Marleigh is 10 (with level 2 autism). During this difficult time, I am asking the community and everyone and anyone to help this family financially. They need a new car, hospital bills, high deductible costs, rehab and care for Amanda, the A/C in their other car is not working. With the heat of these Phoenix summers, we must get that fixed and working for them. Even though Josiah works hard to provide for his family, this unforeseen, awful, accident has created a big strain on their finances and put them in a very vulnerable position. Anything will be a huge help for their family so Amanda can focus on healing and moving forward from this tragedy. Thoughts and prayers, words of encouragement and positivity are greatly appreciated.
