Help Jonson Family: Devastating Life Events

Hello everyone, as some of you may know- myself and two small children ( Maddox, 11 & Bria ,7 ) have been through some very difficult times lately. I am currently in the process of a divorce due to a traumatic domestic violence situation- in which I caught my (soon to be ex) husband using Fentanyl, and immediately afterward he attempted to swing a sword at my throat. This all occurred while we were living in the state of MD. Thankfully my children were not present in the home at the time of the situation. It is safe to say, I did not see this coming.

This tore our family apart. This situation stole our entire since of security, safety, and joy. We then had to move back to WV to live with my parents. After being here for a week or so, I ran into my loving, amazing best friend of over 20 years- Allie. She then understood my situation and offered for us to stay in her rental in Weston. Upon moving into the home, I checked on my belongings I had in two separate storage units in MD. That is when I found out that after roughly a week or so my husband had been released- he had somehow gained access to the main unit that stored ALL of my and my children's belongings from our life together. All the memories from over the years. Clothes, Electronics, Living Room furniture, all our beds, TVS, everything kitchen wise, toys. This man had stolen EVERYTHING from the unit. When I say everything- I mean literally EVERYTHING. The only option left for my children and I to do is to start our life completely over. Now I had to find a way to explain to my two small children who have just went through a traumatic event, that all of their things are now gone forever..because their stepfather was a drug addicted.

Fast forward a few days and my son falls ill. It began as a simple sinus infection. Those of you that know me and my little family, remember when Maddox was 3 years old. He barley escaped with his little life due to a rare infectious case of Pneumonia that collapsed his lung twice and caused an Empyema to form; therefore causing the surgeons to have to perform a partial Lobectomy and remove part of his left upper lung. That being said, any upper respiratory infection is taken seriously for my little man.

His sinus infection ended up turning into what has now been over a month of multiple doctor’s visits, tests, with no straight answers, a mountain of chest Xray’s, rounds and rounds of antibiotics, a HORRIBLE deep cough that keeps him from getting any rest, my poor guy losing weight, nebulizer treatments, doses and doses of steroids, various cough suppressants. With no actual straight Medical Diagnosis as to what is causing this or what could even be going on. He is on a medical leave of absence from school with no idea when he will be able to return.

With him being home, and myself being a single mom of 2, I am struggling to work. I haven’t been able to while he has been sick. From having to take him back and forth to appointments and ER Visits, being his private teacher, and a mom. It’s been rough. Then on top of that, this all happening as soon as we move back and I find out everything we ever had has been stolen and is not gone.

I am trying to do everything I can. I mean EVERYTHING. I am NOT one to expect a hand out. Ask for help. I work for everything I ever had in life. And I help any one and everyone I can that needs it. Now…I need that help..and I’m trying to be humble enough to ask for it..so please..I don’t need any mean or rude comments, your opinions or messages about my current situation. Just kind, uplifting words and prayers, and if you can spare anything to help me- it would be MORE than appreciated. Both by me and my littles. Especially with all these medical bills coming my way, the bills I’m already behind on due to not being able to work, and with Christmas coming up soon..I am starting to worry about how I am going to make that happen for my kids.., so anything helps. And thank you..I’m truly grateful.
