Martha and David are a sweet and loving couple that welcome their baby boy Alexander on October 25.
Martha had a wonderful pregnancy. We never imagined what was going to happen next. Alexander was born via an emergency c-section at Wake Med due to the babies heart rate dropping. Alexander was not breathing at birth and was rushed to the NICU. In the NICU Alexander was diagnosed with a heart problem, lungs are not working and some brain damage. He was rushed to surgery and after surgery he was transfer to DUKE Hospital. Alexander is not able to breath on his own.
Martha was also transferred to Duke and she is by his side. Alexander is fighting for his life. Martha and David will have a lot of expenses with medical bills, travel expenses and hotel expenses. We want Martha to stay near the hospital so she could be by Alexander side.
Alexander will spend months in the NICU and we want to help this beautiful couple as much as we can. Please pray for this wonderful family!
