Poppy got a nice walk in the sunshine with her family today. They are patiently awaiting the next round of tests this Monday. Your continued love and support is so appreciated.
Hello everyone,
Yuki and Will are so humbled and grateful for the outpouring of generosity from you all. They are feeling so loved and supported and are renewed by that love. Poppy sends you all a raspberry. Poppy had surgery on Saturday to surgically remove the fluid that was built up around her heart. It's been a couple really hard nights in the ICU but today Poppy is doing better and her vitals have improved. The doctors still need to monitor her closely and more tests and procedures may be required to determine a cause but today we are feeling cautiously optimistic. Thank you all so so much. We love you.
Dear friends and family,
Last Sunday, our sweet Poppy was brought to the hospital in Nelson from there Poppy, Yuki, and Will flew via medi-jet to BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver. She is being well cared for by the most incredible team of doctors and nurses at BC Children's and has had her devoted parents at her side throughout. We are confident that she will get through this with all her smiles and cuteness intact. If you are able to offer any monetary support at this time we would be so grateful. Yuki and Will are being so strong and it's our goal to reduce the financial burden so that they can focus all their attention on Poppy without having to worry about the expenses that come with being away from home and work. We will try and post updates here but please refrain from messaging Yuki or Will with questions. As you can imagine, they are very overwhelmed right now and have very little information. Your love and support mean the world.
