Help for Bassa family

We are fundraising for OIS 7th grade Core teacher Abdul Bassa and his family after the immeasurable loss of their second child, baby boy Amyr Ismail Bassa.

Amyr is described by his family as a rainbow baby, arriving just 2 years after the birth and passing of his older sister, Amyla Fatima. Although he struggled with health issues since birth, he persevered as the happiest child his family had ever seen.

We humbly request that you contribute what you can to help the Bassa family during this difficult time. Having been with our community only a short while, Abdul has not accrued much sick leave and is not yet able to belong to the Catastrophic Leave Bank; your financial contribution will enable Abdul to take the time he needs to grieve.
