Help For Beano

Our dear friend Beano, who has been a Rebellion Festival team member for over 20 years, is battling Motor Neurone Disease (MND)/ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease in the United States.

The devastating impact of this disease means that he needs to adapt his home to meet his increasing needs. Without these changes, he will be forced to move away from his support network of friends and family and possibly into a care home facility many miles from everyone and everything he knows and loves.

Beano is something of a legend on the music scene and has worked with, played in bands and helped so many people over the years. We are hoping some of that support will now be returned to help raise enough so that he can stay living in his home near his children and friends.

We appreciate times are hard and every penny counts so please only give if you are able. All money raised will go into a secure fund which will only be used for pay for the alterations – in the first instance, an accessible bathroom.
