Support for Beatrice Ellenor & family

Born September 15, 2022, Beatrice Ellenor is now 19 months of age and has been recently diagnosed with a rare & aggressive form of pediatric cancer called embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. This cancer affects 3.4 people out of every million.

This GoFundMe was started on behalf of parents Robyn & Robert, along with Bea’s 3 older siblings, as Bea undergoes extensive medical treatment to try and shrink the aggressive tumor. We hope & pray that this will allow for surgery to remove the tumour (it is affecting nearby lymph nodes currently, and surgery at this point would cause too much damage to her body). Bea will also require additional chemotherapy, and likely radiotherapy as well, and about a year of treatment will take place. Sadly, due to the nature of the cancer, and the treatments, it is unlikely that Bea will be able to have children of her own, and will have a higher risk of getting additional cancer later in life.

The family is in shock, and heartbroken for their sweet daughter, and little sister, so we are asking you to pray. Please pray for peace for each family member, provision for needs that arise, wisdom for Bea’s medical care team, and ultimately, miraculous healing for Bea.

In these last 19 months, Beatrice has lived up to the meaning of her name, and has brought an abundance of joy & blessing to her family & all those who know her.

Funds donated will be given to help the family with medical expenses related to Bea’s treatment & care, food, fuel for driving to and from hospital & also to the grandparents (where the kids spend a lot of time when childcare is needed). Robert has had to take a lot of time off work to help with kids as well, so there is a great need for financial help to replace the loss of income.
