Hit and Run: Ben's Medical Bills
Donation protected
MVP Family in need of support after motorcycle accident
Ben was heading to work on his motorcycle when a moving truck did not yield when making a left turn. Ben had to lay his motorcycle down rather than hit the truck. However, during the crash he struck the curb and was sent airborne. The truck driver was at fault but left the scene without even bothering to call for an ambulance. Thankfully there were others that saw the crash and they called for help. Ben needs surgery to fix his shoulder and wrist but since the driver of the truck left without taking responsibility his family is left with the medical bills. His wife is also pregnant with their 3rd child and she is due sometime this month. The timing could not be worse.
We would like to make sure that the only thing they must do is heal and enjoy their new baby.
Please donate anything you can spare to help cover the cost of their insurance out of pocket maximum of $3,000 which will be needed given the extent of Ben’s injuries.
During surgery and after the birth, meals and care for his 2 children would be also be very welcome.
Because of the process of billing and insurance the needed funds are about a month out.
