Help for Big Mike's recovery

Mike was involved in a serious, life changing car accident that broke his neck and damaged his vocal chords. His wife Fiona is off work under the "Family Caretaker" EI program that only covers %40 of her wage and Mike may only get 70% from Insurance for the short term.
They are struggling.
He works for MicroAge Tech Solutions in Peterborough and was on his way to a call when the accident happened.
The investigation is still underway, but it seems he T-boned a car that may have run a stop sign. Apparently the other driver, thankfully, walked away with either minor or no injuries, thank goodness.
He is currently struggling with nerve and muscle pain as he recovers from surgery where he was fitted with 3 titanium disks and screws etc. to repair his top 4 vertebrae.
Hoping we can help him to cover expenses for gas to get to his multiple Doctors appointments and therapy, help with covering some bills etc. for the short term until he gets back on his feet physically and financially and to help pay for expensive medications that won't be covered by OHIP or insurance initially.
Anything would help. Even if it's just labour to cut grass etc.
