Help for Brian Lowry

Hi everyone, I am fundraising on behalf of my dad, Brian Lowry. About a year ago he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Pulmonary fibrosis is a disease where there is scarring of the lungs, the scarring causes the tissues in the lungs to get thick and stiff and makes it hard to absorb oxygen into the bloodstream. He has been battling with this for a quite while but maintaining at home. Back in the beginning of February his health took a turn for the worse and he landed in the ICU at Jones Memorial Hospital where he was put on high flow oxygen. The hospital staff took such wonderful care of him but unfortunately his oxygen level has not improved much and they reached a point where they couldn't do much more for him. Just this past weekend they transported him to a rehabilitation facility in Erie PA to continue the good fight in a more conducive environment for his particular situation. At this point the ultimate goal is to build his immune system back to a level that his body would be able to sustain a lung transplant. As we all know the bills don't stop coming in and travel to see him was just a quick 15 minute drive is now a 2+ hour drive. Any donations would help with travel and bills. Anything you can afford would be a great help and much appreciated. A share and a prayer is certainly welcomed at this point as well.
