Help for Carissa Walberg
Donation protected
On November 18th, Carissa was doing what she loved, horseback riding. Unfortunately, she had a freak accident after a fall which resulted in her dissecting her carotid artery. This caused three massive strokes. Carissa had a 30 percent chance of surviving the craniotomy that was vital to her survival. She beat the odds and underwent surgery, survived, and spent 10 days in the ICU. She’s now in rehab and has a long recovery ahead of her. She was an English teacher prior to the accident and she may never be able to return back to her profession. We have high hopes that with Carissa’s strength and the power of prayer, she will defeat the odds. Please, consider any donation to aid in her long rehabilitation to come.
