Help for Cassius and rent!!

Hi, my name is Richard, I am starting this GoFundMe for a few reasons. The first one is the big guy you see in the picture. That is Cassius or Cash, he is my roommates two year old service dog, Jamie has DID/PTSD. He is a European Doberman Pinscher who sadly was born with Hip Dysplasia and is becoming extremely painful for him. He saw a surgeon last summer who diagnosed and said at two when the growth plates stopped growing he would need full hip replacement. Now my roommate does have pet insurance like a responsible owner, however the surgeon does not have a contract with her pet insurance and the money is expected up front and then she would be reimbursed, minus our portion. But she does not have ten thousand dollars upfront. We have no other options for surgeons because this clinic is the only one who does hip replacements in Las Vegas is what her vet said. It is a serious procedure. Then his physical therapy if he needs it after surgery and care. She can not afford this right now as she is battling serious health issues herself and has been referred to a rheumatologist, dermatologist and others for suspected Lupus. The second reason is to get help with just a few more months of rent and bills. I am looking for work, I am a professional truck driver and seeking employment right now also. So we just need a little help with rent and bills and food. I know this is asking for a lot right now in a pandemic. I also know my roommate does not like asking for help. However, as those with a service dog know with service dogs they are more than just a pet, Cash is literally my roommates life line and he does so much for her. It is breaking her heart to see him hurting. She even is using the last bit of money she has to get him to the vet today for pain management. The surgeon is out of town on vacation so she has a couple weeks to come up with the money. Any little bit helps. Thank you so much for your help and if you can't just please share this!!!
