3X's a charm for Christi Riley's road to recovery

Update: Christi has been in the hospital since March 13th, she was also in the hospital the week before. She will be moved to a group home most likely today, 21 March. Her family is doing what they can to help Christi and ask for a little help to get them started on her final wishes.

Hello, my name is Kimberly and I'm creating this fundraiser for my friend Christi Harnish Riley whom I worked with at American Airlines for over 20 years.

Christi needs our help as she has been battling pancreatic cancer since March 2021 after having a cat scan for her kidney stones. She started Chemo for stage 4 Pancreatic cancer with nets to liver from May 2021 to September 2021 and started home chemo in September 2021. By December 2021 the tumor in the pancreas showed no evidence of disease. By August 2022 the liver was also cleared. October 2022 the tumor in her pancreas started to grow and she started radiation in February 2023. Now the pancreas is showing no evidence of desease but the liver shows 3 areas of cancer. She will begin chemo August 1st 2023 and uncertain how long she will need to receive treatments.

She shared with me that she needs help this go around because the people in her cancer group have shared that for the first 2 days after treatment she will sleep all day, on the 3rd day she will have flu like symptoms, have no appetite or energy and will only feel better the day before her next treatment.

Christi is one of the kindest people I've ever known who is helpful towards others and who also has a heart for animals as she has 2 rescue pups, 13 yo Husky named Pumpkin and a 1 yo lab named Junior. I'd love for everybody to reciprocate the same kindness she's given to everybody else.

The funds will go toward her mortgage, utilities, medical treatments and outstanding medical bill.
