Help for Clan Gilday
Donation protected
On Wednesday, Nov. 15 our friend Greg Gilday was making a run to the store for pineapple juice and other sundries with 6-year-old Jasper. As they crossed Atlantic they were hit by a car running from the police and Jasper was seriously injured. (read the Long Beach Press Telegram story
here.)
As you can see by the photos, the Lincoln was totaled, but thankfully, Jasper, wee war pup that his is, remained calm while emergency responders tended to his injuries (he broke his nose and his collarbone). He will make a full recovery.
But our friends the Gildays need our help. For all of us who have ever enjoyed a concert at the Horse or a Sunday mimosa or an impromptu meal with this warm and welcoming family, let's do what we can to help them through this period. There are medical bills and other expenses to somehow cover, even while recovering from this traumatic event.
Let's show them our love and support.
