Help for Cobra's Medical Expenses

Hi, My name is Ana and I am hosting this GoFundMe for my neighbor Kyra's dog, Cobra.

**Update** In addition to the original charges of 1500, there were additional vet charges of 650 dollars incurred on Nov 17 due to Cobra suddenly being unable to stand or walk . The cause has been determined to be a narrowing of his lumbosacral spinal canal. He will be needing regular medications to keep under control. 

 

On the morning of November 2nd, Cobra was attacked by a dog and had extensive wounds requiring a trip to Elk Grove Emergency Vet and follow up visits to her own vet.

 

4 days later, on November 6th, Kyra's husband, Christopher Cooper passed away at the age of 37 of stage 4 colon cancer, leaving behind, a 2 year old daughter Rylee , and 4 years of medical bills on top of Cobra's medical expenses. That is a lot for a young, newly widowed mom already working 2 jobs to have to bear.

 

When she was heading to the vet with Cobra, her heart was broken thinking she would need to put him down to keep expenses low, but I promised her I would help. Cobra is the sweetest pup and and after losing her young husband/dad, the last thing Kyra and her daughter need is to lose the comfort of their beloved family dog. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Any funds above the 2500 vet bills would go to help pay off Chris Coopers medical bills.
