Help for Dale After the Kearny Fire
At 9am on July 18, 2021, a terrible fire destroyed the home of our wonderful aunt, Dale Cullen. Dale is a graduate of Kearny High School and the third generation of Cullen to call Kearny home. Before retiring, she was employed as a Newark Postal Police Sergeant. She had lived in her Elm Street home for almost 40 years. Not only did the fire completely destroy her home and all of her belongings, but her much loved dog, Shiloh, and two cats, Kaycee and Black Jack, did not make it out.
The picture above was taken on June 25, 2021. She now has second and third degree burns on more than 50% of her upper torso, face, arms, and hands. She has a long road to recovery and is currently in the Intensive Care Burn Unit at St. Barnabas Hospital. She is going to need to completely rebuild her life and herself. If you can donate any amount to help her recover, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
