Help for Danny and Vicky Shaffer

My father (Danny Shaffer) suffered a STEMI on November 28th. A STEMI is a very serious type of heart attack during which one of the heart’s major arteries (one of the arteries that supplies oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the heart muscle) is blocked. He was sent to Bethesda North hospital, where two stents were placed. He was told he still has a small piece of blood clot in his heart. He was put on blood thinners in hopes of dissolving the clot. He was also diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic while he was there. His sugar has been in the 300s. They have put him on different medications due to his health issues. He does not have insurance. He was the primary breadwinner.. and due to his circumstances he is unable to work. He is very weak and tires from walking. Mom has had some of her own health issues and is trying to work to help makes ends meet. They are not the type to ask for help, but rather the type to help others. They are struggling financially to make ends meet and now have extra expenses due to Dad needing medical appts and medicines. They would not ask for help..so if you could find it in your heart to help them in their time of need, it certainly wouldn’t go unnoticed!
