Homegoing for Danny

Hi to all, I have set this fundraiser on behalf of my son Cordell, and family to help with his dad Daniel Slyfox Mixon aka Danny Homegoing expenses.  Many of you know about the tragic reason behind this fund raiser, to those who don't I finally have the strength to tell the story (at our son Cordell /family request). On early Saturday morning 7/31 Daniel received a phone call from his girlfriend Kia informing him she had ran out of gas. Daniel arrived on his motorbike went to get gas and were headed back to her car on I-96.  Unknowingly there were multiple calls about a car headed in the wrong direction that not only struck both Daniel and Kia but resulted in their deaths. Daniel lost his leg at the scene, and a few hours his life at the hospital after a brave fight.. Kia had children and not only died at the scene, her head was decapitated upon impact by this despicable drunk driver, in which this was his second offense.. As the mother of his oldest son Cordell this was so tragic and devastating to me because we were childhood friends as well. Daniel leaves behind 3 children, and our 3 Granddaughters, family and many many friends.
