Help for Darrell House

Hi!

If you don't know me, my name is Tamara Clair, and I created this go-fund for Darrell House, an incredible friend and mentor to myself, my family, and so many others

Darrell has lifted my family in prayer, offered up anything we needed during a tough time, and most literally helped save my husband's life.

The time has come for me to try and encourage him, as he has done for me so many times.

Over the past few months, Darrell has gone through terrible loss and a life-changing sequence of events for him and his son, Elijah. He unexpectedly lost his mother on July 14th; the following Monday totaled his car after hitting a deer. Unfortunately, like many of us, the past year has been a tough season for Darrell, as he is a single father and currently doesn't have a vehicle.

If you know Darrell, you know that he doesn't ask for anything, but he will give you the shirt off his back without thinking twice. He is there for a warm hug when you are sad, a high five to celebrate with you, and most importantly, he leads everyone near him closer to Jesus.

One of my favorite verses of the Bible is Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, which says:

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."

I pray that those who know him can help lift him up, so he knows he is not alone. So he can find his new normal and know how loved he is by all of us.

If you are reading this and haven't met Darrell, I encourage you to seek him out, for I can assure you that he only makes your life richer with love and fellowship. Community is at the root of Darrell's heart, so let's rally around him and be the community he needs during this season of his life.
