Help for Dewey Dorough aka "The Sultan of the Sax"

Hello friends! As many of you know by now, our dear friend, Dewey (former saxophonist for the Oak Ridge Boys and The Charlie Daniels Band) underwent open heart surgery on December 21st with a triple bypass and a valve replacement on the fourth one. We want to thank you for all the love, support and prayers you have offered up. Dewey is doing remarkably well but it will take some time before he will be able to get back on his feet and do the one thing that he has always been so passionate about and that is, sharing his amazing talent on the saxophone with others! Dewey has been in a rehab facility for the past week and he will be going home this coming Wednesday the 10th. He will be needing in-home care for a little while also.

Many of you may not know that Dewey is on a fixed income and what he does receive every month only allows him to pay his rent with only a little bit left over to take care of bills, food, incidentals, etc... He supplements his income by playing his saxophone. I am writing this to reach out to all of you who know and love him and would like to help out so that he can focus on his healing and be able to pay his bills, food etc.. as well. He will also be needing a few things set up in his place so he can ambulate more efficiently. A few of these things are not covered under his insurance. We are hoping he will be able to be up and around playing his saxophone again in about 4 months maybe 5. In the meantime we want him to be able to focus on his healing and not worry himself sick as to whether his bills, are going to get paid or not, along with other things that he needs. We do so very much appreciate each and every one of you and if you cannot give monetarily, we understand, we are so incredibly grateful for your prayers of healing! Keep them coming!
