Help for Donald "DA" Adams

Hello Friends,

I am creating this GoFundMe to help our close friend Donald “D.A.” Adams. DA is a well known professional in the entertainment production industry. He has mentored and supported many of us through the years and is a valued friend to so many people. He has contributed extensively to numerous need-based funds, especially the American Cancer Society in his mother's memory.

DA is in an unexpected serious medical/financial crisis and it’s time we all give back to him and help if possible.

DA was originally diagnosed last year with a throat tumor and treated with radiation. Necessary scans were denied by insurance, which allowed this cancer to spread through his abdomen. Since this new diagnosis just weeks ago, several procedures have been done to try and locate the original area of the abdominal cancer so chemotherapy could begin. Insurance slowed this process again; however, hopefully he is within days of beginning chemo. DA has been struggling to work these past few weeks due to oncology appointments, medical procedures and exhaustion. Soon he will be forced into unpaid medical leave. Without an income, his overwhelming financial obligations cannot be met. One of those that is especially critical is the new high insurance premiums necessary for treatment and the medical care that is not covered by insurance.

These big financial issues are not going to go away anytime soon. Your help through these difficult times would be greatly appreciated, and will never be forgotten.
