Help for Dr. Heather Stalcup (Good-Crider)
Donation protected
Hi to the most giving people in the world. I am humbly asking for your help with the sudden & mounting medical expenses of my girlfriend Dr. Heather (Good/Crider) Stalcup.
Heather is 51 and has been a part of the Columbia MO community for 3 years, having provided chiropractic services to 100's of patients, often at no cost. She attended Parkway Central High school in St. Louis (class of ’89), graduated from Lake Brantley High School (Altamonte FL) in 1989, and is a proud alum of Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, class of 2006. She is a proud sister of the Lambda Kappa Chi sorority (served as Vice President), mom of one daughter and two sons, (both of whom served in the military), and grandmother of one. All was good with the world.
Then, Heather suffered in stroke in April of 2022. The resulting MRI’s revealed a tumor in her pituitary gland, that has negatively affected her speech and physical functions. A mass was surgically removed in December 2022 but has left her with severe speech issues, a debilitating sensitivity to cold (which is a big issue when you live in Missouri) and a severe decrease in mobility. Her doctor has suggested she visit the Mayo Clinic, as signs of ALS and PBA (an acute brain injury that causes uncontrollable crying or laughing) are distinct possibilities. Her practice has almost disappeared, as she cannot handle her prior patient load with her medical condition.
I know you are thinking, “Hey, she’s a doctor. Shouldn't she be able to deal with this”? Without a consistent income flow, mounting medical bills, upcoming visits to the Mayo Clinic, and her insurance not covering her needs, Heather needs all the help, prayers, love and support we can provide.
This could happen to anyone at any time. Heather is a fighter and with our help will see her way through this. I hope you can find it in your heart to help. All donations and support will go toward medical expenses and basic living needs. Share with all you know.
