Help for Elyse

A long-time friend of mine, Daniel, is a single dad whose 5-year-old daughter, Elyse, was diagnosed in 2016 with cancer.  She has inoperable tumors on her spine that can only be treated with chemo and/or radiation.  She is currently undergoing what will end up being a year of intense chemo.  Her dad works hard, but with a sick child, sometimes has to miss work to see to her medical needs and with a job that pays by the hour, missed work means missed pay.  In addition to the direct impact this illness has had on his income, his health insurance covers only a fraction of the actual medical costs.  As an example of the challenges they face: her chemo treatments have, most recently, caused her to lose teeth and he had to pay an expensive dental bill to have two abscessed teeth extracted (something I would never have known was a possibility).  So, I thought there might be some of you folks who could help, to whatever extent you're able.  They have been incurring expenses for some time now and the situation is a burden, financially.  Your help is deeply appreciated.
