Help for Family Dog Bullet

Poor Bullet was attacked and seriously injured by a pack of hunting dogs not under the control of their owner.

At 12, the vets feared he wouldn't have the strength to make it because his injuries were so severe.

But a few weeks on Bullet is starting to heal, he's still fighting, still having treatment every other day and still trying to get back up on all four paws.

Rehabilitation is hard the big fella but he has never given up and just wants to be home where he belongs with no more trips to the vet to have bandages removed, his injuries flushed and redressed. It’s hard too on his family who have had him since puppyhood, and it’s hard on the dedicated vets and vet nurses who have worked on days off, across lunch and dinner breaks and through night duties to help give this lovely boy the best chance possible. All of this costs money and Bullet’s loving family are facing a bill of £10,000 or more to help their pet through the trauma and injuries which should never have been inflicted on him. As you can imagine they just were not prepared for this. The vet team is not cutting corners but they are doing everything they can to keep all costs down as much as possible.

Today we are asking you to help us raise funds to meet the costs of getting Bullet back on his paws. Every single penny will make a difference in tackling the vet bill.
