Nathan Eugene Rowland of Taylor, was taken from this world on February 12, 2020 at the young age of 41. Nathan was born on January 19, 1979 in Taylor, to Paul Eugene and Vickie (Frase) Rowland. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold “Slim” Eugene Rowland, Esther (Blomquist) Rowland and Cecil Eugene Frase. Nathan is survived by his son, Mason Eugene Rowland and daughter, Megan Ross Rowland of Hutto. Parents, Paul and Vickie Rowland of Thrall. Sister, Salina and husband Toby W. Towery of Thorndale and sister, Mendy and husband James “J.D.” Wallin of Thrall. Grandmother, Laverne Frase of Noack. He had two nephews, five nieces, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and an infinite amount of friends, as he was well-loved by many.
Nathan was a graduate of Taylor High School, Class of ’97. He was formerly an investigator and police officer. He recently began pursuing a career as a licensed home inspector.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Tenth Street United Methodist Church in Taylor, Texas with visitation before services starting at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Travis L. Summerlin of Tenth Street United Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.
