Help for Grandmothers in El Salvador

Donation protected
Hello my name is Yessica. I came to Holyoke in 2019 as a trans-woman seeking asylum. I work full time but do not earn enough money to help my grandmothers Maria and Anna in El Salvador.

When I call home they ask me to help with medications and oxygen and food.

With the little I earn, I am not enough to help them, much less support them. with food, I can barely pay my bills and I can't even help them with a bottle of oxygen, it is very expensive and I can't buy it, that's why I want to seek help.

One of my grandmothers is called María, my mother's mother, she needs oxygen because her health worsened when her husband died this year in July 2023. She also needs financial help to buy food.

My other grandmother is called Ana Vicenta, she, my father's mother, has a foot with a sore that cannot be cured and that does not bother her. She can't move or walk and she also needs help with food.

I feel bad when they call me and tell me that they need many things like oxygen and food and medicine, because sometimes they ask me for help because they don't have another family member here in America to help them with that.

If you have the ability to provide support this would lift a great burden from me. If I can send them $400 per month this will provide them with their food, oxygen, and medication.

Thank you for your help.
